Session 6 [Mon 010210] - Deadline For Bio & Portrait Papers/ Creating Your Heads In Illustrator

Intro To Mac class is cancelled for Wed 030210 due to personal reasons. You are welcome to use the mac lab at your allotted time. Please read the homework and latest news below carefully.

Homework
You have a deadline of next Wednesday [100210] to finish your 6 heads in Illustrator.

Each head must be rendered in Illustrator in its own A3 document.

Use the class time and homework allocation between now and the deadline to complete your heads.

Make sure you build your heads using Illustrator Layers to distinguish each part - silhouette/ hair/ nose/ eyes/ mouth/ etc. This will make your heads easier to manage for animation later.

Remember to use closed paths where you can and only use open paths when you need to add linear details to your artwork.

There is an extended two class make-up session this Friday [050210] from 11:00 until 1:00 and then, 2:00 until 4:00. This is an opportunity to really make some headway on your artwork and learn lots of new techniques to make your art that much more creative.
